Panelist Bios
Jackie DeWolfe is the Director of Sustainable Mobility for the Massachusetts Department of Transportation working to create a safe, sustainable, and just transportation system in which everyone has mobility and access.
Bill Nesper is the Executive Director of the League of American Bicyclists, founded in 1880 when it fought for the first paved roads, today works to improve lives and strengthen communities through bicycling towards a bicycle-friendly America. The League's Bicycle Friendly America program provides a roadmap and recognition for communities, businesses, and universities to make bicycling safe, comfortable, and accessible for all.
Amanda Leahy, AICP, is an Associate Planner at Kittleson and President of Association of Pedestrian & Bicycle Professionals, passionate about strengthening connections between people and place through sound planning and analysis; creative, context-sensitive design and engineering; and effective stakeholder and community engagement. She is particularly interested in exploring the relationships among active transportation, land use, climate action, health, safety, and equity.
Jeff Peel, AICP, is an Account Executive at StreetLight, where he helps government customers navigate transportation planning, reporting, and problem solving using Big Data. Prior to joining StreetLight, Jeff worked for NYCDOT and MTA delivering resilient and innovative transit projects to the residents and visitors of New York City. Jeff also has extensive experience in bicycle and pedestrian advocacy and policy, having established best practices and benchmarking criteria as part of the Bicycle Friendly America program at the League of American Bicyclists.
