Who Visits & When? Big Data Sheds New Light On State Park Access
To improve natural resource management, visitor experiences, and park maintenance across the entire Minnesota state park system, researchers needed comprehensive visitation data that would shed light on time trends and visitor demographics. Previously limited to costly manual counting and survey methods for data collection, the agency turned to StreetLight to help widen their scope of analysis and inform management of all Minnesota parks, big and small.
