Presenter Bios

Keith Nichols is a Principal Transportation Engineer for the Hampton Roads Transportation Planning Organization, which serves as the Metropolitan Planning Organization for Southeastern Virginia. Keith has worked for the HRTPO for 24 years. Keith’s responsibilities at the HRTPO include oversight of the Congestion Management, Freight Planning, Transportation Performance Management and Analysis, Intelligent Transportation Systems and Transportation Operations, and Roadway Safety Planning areas.

Nathan Shay is Solutions Engineer at StreetLight. Previously, Nathan worked as a transportation planning and traffic engineering consultant serving DOTs and MPOs throughout the country. Prior to that Nathan started his career as a travel demand modeler working for the MPOs in Columbus, Ohio and Houston Texas.
